Solar Parker Probe Rocket Launch

A personal highlight of 2018 was directing a shoot covering the Solar Parker Probe rocket launch at Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, where I worked with a local DOP to cover the action and interview the lead scientist.

Update: In 2021 the probe was the first spaceship in history to reach the sun’s atmospheric layer. A truly awe-inspiring first. It’s incredible to think that tiny probe I filmed launching from Florida reached the sun three years later.

This was for a funded development project.
