Delighted to see the documentary “Palmyra: At the Crossroads of the Worlds” has now aired on France5.
This captivating film explores the ancient site of Palmyra, located in modern Syria. It follows a dedicated team on a mission to reconstruct the spectacular city, which was destroyed by Daesh in 2015. It’s definitely worth a watch, offering phenomenal access to this historically rich site and showcasing incredible new technologies used to preserve the few original monuments that still stand.
I had the pleasure of edit producing the 90-minute re-version of the film and seeing the episode through the online with Windfall Films at the end of last year. It was fascinating to learn about this rarely filmed archaeological site!
