About
This series of spectacular aerial journeys reveal the world’s most remarkable nations as they’ve never been seen before.
I worked across two and a half episodes, on Iceland, Ireland and Norway, finding and producing stories, writing scripts, remotely directing the shoots and finally taking two of them through the edit to delivery.
Across 8 months we filmed 22 stories, including a volcano eruption, hump-back whales bubble net feeding in fjords and snow clearing activities at an international airport.
Working fully remotely with the drone crews and contributors in Iceland, Ireland and Norway I had to meticulously plan the shoots and brief them whilst also providing on the day support during the filming and interviews, to film exactly what we needed to produce this visually spectacular series.
