Egypt From Above
About
A spectacular aerial journey across Egypt reveals how the River Nile was the key to the ancients’ empire and why it is still important today.
I story produced across the two episodes finding suitable contributors and securing tricky access. On location in Egypt during a month long trip I shot steady cam and second camera. I also had the opportunity to direct some of the drone filming at many sites across the country. It was an unforgettable experience meeting fantastic people, from date farmers in Siwa oasis to Pigeon racers in the centre of Cairo. It was an incredible opportunity to capture the beauty and varied landscape of Egypt from the air.
